We’ve got some big news to share: thanks to YOU, our incredible community, Athena Roasted Chicken has been named one of Orlando Weekly’s “Best of Orlando 2025” winners! 🎉 We placed #3 in Best Greek Restaurant, and we couldn’t be more honored.
For 36 years, our family has been roasting up fresh, never frozen, hormone-free chicken, seasoned with traditional Greek spices, cooked slowly, and always served with love. From our hearty Greek salads to scratch-made sides and desserts, everything we do starts with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. It’s simple food, made right, at a price that families can feel good about.
But the truth is, this recognition isn’t just about the food. It’s about the community that has supported us since we first opened our doors back in 1988. Generations of families from Maitland, Winter Park, Longwood, Lake Mary, and beyond have shared meals with us, celebrated milestones with us, and become part of the Athena family. That connection means the world to us.
Being included in Best of Orlando is a reminder of why we do what we do: to bring people together around the table. We’re proud to be a locally owned restaurant that puts quality, service, and value first. And we’re even prouder to be part of this amazing Central Florida community that continues to cheer us on.
